
Founder, CEO and Managing Director
Brad is the founder and Managing Director of EWM Group and has been in the finance and investment industry since 1986.
Prior to forming EWM Group in 2005, Brad held the position of Executive Director of Goldman Sachs JBWere, where he jointly established the Private Wealth Management division within Queensland.
Previous to his years at Goldman Sachs JBWere, Brad spent 12 years with one of Australia’s major banks across various private banking, commercial finance, and senior management roles.
Brad’s background and experience encompasses investment management, commercial finance, private and investment banking, family governance and education, and philanthropic advice. The large majority of his experience has been focused on affluent individuals, multi-generational families, and the not-for-profit sector.
Brad holds qualifications in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance) from Queensland University of Technology. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Brad is actively involved with a number of philanthropic endeavors, including holding an advisory board position with the Adam Scott Foundation, being a Foundation Fund member for Bravehearts and sitting on the investment committee for a number of groups including private foundations and indigenous organisations.

Head of Investments
Simon holds extensive experience in global markets and funds management. Prior to joining the firm, Simon was Head of Global Trading and Research for a single-family office based in Sydney. Previous to this, Simon held various senior positions at Societe Generale and Macquarie Bank.
Over the course of his career, Simon has specialised in the management of proprietary trading mandates, target investment portfolios, and multi-strategy solutions, across all major asset classes. He has also served on the executive fundraising committee for Barnardos Australia (our nation’s oldest children’s charity).

Manager, Institute for Family Wealth
Katrina joined EWM Group in 2017 following a 20-year legal career with one of Australia’s leading law firms and also as a senior Inhouse Counsel with one of Australia’s leading financial institutions.
She is responsible for the delivery of our education programs via the Institute of Family Wealth.
Katrina holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business degree. Her background in law, business, banking and education training for institutional advisors provides the necessary valuable skills for the benefit of the Institute for Family Wealth and our clients.

Financial Controller / Head of Finance
Paul is EWM Group’s Financial Controller and Head of Finance.
Paul has broad experience in accounting and finance, as well as operations management and taxation.
Prior to joining the firm, Paul was the Practice Manager with a prominent chartered accounting firm.
Paul’s other previous roles before this were in Australia and the UK, primarily in technology, hospitality and mining resource enterprises where he held various senior management positions.
Paul is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Registered Tax Agent.

Head of Client Services
Sarah has been a member of the EWM Group team since 2009.
Sarah’s holds an established background in client relationships within Funds Management and Property Consulting. Sarah oversees our Client Relationship Teams, ensuring that our leading global best practice standards are maintained across all our client communications and engagements.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Business with a double major in Finance and Commerce, she also holds a Diploma in Financial Services.

Client Director
Sarah Metcalf is a Client Director at EWM Group, with deep expertise in Philanthropy and Family Governance. Her career spans senior roles across marketing, philanthropy, and the family office sector.
Sarah began in marketing, holding executive positions in telecommunications, financial services, and as Director of a marketing and branding firm. She later transitioned into philanthropy, where she served in CEO and senior consulting roles across the not-for-profit sector. Notably, she was the National Manager for the EY Foundation across Oceania and a Senior Foundation Manager at Mutual Trust, advising private foundations, philanthropists, next-generation family members, and women of wealth. Her work has focused on giving with impact, driven by purpose and legacy.
Most recently, Sarah founded Collective Manifesto, which is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and organisations give more effectively and with greater impact.

Senior Portfolio Manager
Peter is a Senior Portfolio Manager with the firm.
Prior to joining EWM Group, Peter’s worked with a boutique investment firm as a research manager, directly overseeing the portfolios of several high-net-worth families. Peter also has experience working in the major banks within private wealth and banking.
Peter holds a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University. Peter is also a board member of WayAhead for the Mental Health Association of NSW.

Project Manager, Group Subsidiaries and Family Governance
Adry initially joined the EWM Group as a Client Associate, She later advanced to the role of Operations Manager, before moving to her current role of Project Manager, Group Subsidiaries and Family Governance.
Prior to joining the firm, Adry’s worked for several years working with a well-known family office based in South America and the United States, where she held a management-focused role.
Adry holds a Bachelor of Economics and has significant experience in project management and business administration.

Senior Relationship Manager
Axel is a Senior Relationship Manager at EWM Group, bringing extensive experience from his background in wealth management and private banking. With a strong track record advising high-net-worth clients, he combines market insights with a personalised, relationship-driven approach to wealth management. He also maintains a keen interest in the competitive world of sport.

Client Associate – Brisbane
Ryan is our Client Associate based in Brisbane with a strong analytical mindset and exceptional problem-solving skills.
A self-starting individual with a Batchelor’s degree in Business and extensive training and knowledge in Governance Practices, project management, corporate actions, stakeholder engagement and client relations.

Investment Analyst
Since joining the firm as a Client Associate in Sydney, Olivia has joined EWM Group’s growing Investment team as an Investment Analyst, supporting the firms Head of Investments and Client Relationship teams.
Olivia has completed a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Economics and IT, with a background in financial software support, and exceptional client services.

Client Associate - Sydney
David joins the team as a Client Associate in our Sydney Office. David’s career commenced in investment analysis and wealth management, and prior to joining EWM Group, was working in advisory firms building his experience in advising client portfolios.
David has completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance with a strong focus on portfolio construction and alternative investments.

EA / Office Administrator
Ella joins our Brisbane team, following previous roles and experience as a Banking Consultant in New Zealand. With a background in customer service, Ella has developed a strong foundation in client-focused industries.
Ella holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Criminology and Sociology from Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington, which has shaped her analytical and problem-solving skills.
