Protecting A Legacy
History is riddled with stories of substantial wealth and businesses that have been damaged (or destroyed) through family disputes and dynamics. Global research has shown that these are the origins for why 70 percent of attempted wealth transitions fail.
We know why they fail.
Preparing families for stewardship of wealth is often a key driver of multi-generational families. At EWM Group, we work with clients, their family members across all generations (and their advisers) in implementing a strategy and pathway to assist in the successful transition of family wealth, culture and values to the next-generation and ensuring that they are ready for the roles and responsibilities that lie ahead across all areas of a family's needs.
Our Story
EWM Group was the first independent multi-family office in Australia, founded in 2005.
EWM Group, driven by client demand, was established to provide an independent trusted adviser to manage and coordinate the financial, investment, family, lifestyle, philanthropic and wealth transition needs of a select group of entrepreneurs, individuals and multi-generational families.
Headquartered, in Brisbane, with a presence throughout the country, our firm has grown to manage a diverse range of clients throughout Australia and internationally and has built a global reputation as a leader in the Multi-Family Office landscape.
Our experience and expertise in independently servicing the needs of entrepreneurs, multi-generational families, global sportspeople, entertainers, women of wealth and the broader UHNW industry, places us in a unique position versus our peers who are often conflicted by internal products and fees and simply focus on investment.
Over the years, we have added resources and services to our team solely focused on the needs of our clients including, best of breed global reporting, comprehensive co-investment community, tailored education programs for our clients and their advisers to prepare them for succession and a public ancillary fund to allow our clients to simplify and enhance their structured giving requirements.
We have more to accomplish.
